3- HYDRATION MASK

This combination is incredibly hydrating for the skin and will leave it feeling smooth and youthful. Honey is excellent for allowing the skin to retain moisture, so adding it as a base to a face mask is a great idea. Avocado is highly anti-inflammatory and contains a number of healthy fats that nourish the skin and oatmeal is very hydrating and nourishes your skin. 

Ingredients:

  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 1 tablespoon of raw honey
  • A handful of oats

Method:

To use, just mash the avocado until you get a smooth consistency and then add the honey and oatmeal and mix until the mixture becomes a thick consistency and the ingredients are blended together. Using your hands or a clean brush, apply the mixture to clean the skin, avoiding the eye, eyebrow, mouth and nostril areas and let it rest for 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water and a face cloth and notice how hydrated and plump your skin is.
